Restaurant Demo to open in the top observation floor of We Land
Finland's longest-standing Michelin-starred restaurant, Demo, will open in October in the We Land office building in Ruoholahti.
Restaurant Demo will soon offer its guests sea views towards Lauttasaari from the top, 14th floor of We Land. Restaurateur Tommi Tuominen will continue the culinary tradition of the former Demo. The restaurant originally opened on Uudenmaankatu in 2003.
- Now we have a fantastic opportunity to literally elevate Demo to the top of the city. The old location had reached its limits, and development had stalled, so I thought it best to move to a completely new place. Leaving the original location is bittersweet, but I believe the 6-meter glass walls, overlooking the sea and the city, will provide some comfort, says Finnish Michelin-starred chef and owner of Demo Tommi Tuominen.
The top floor fine dining & lounge at We Land will feature Michelin-level dining in the future.
- A top-tier restaurant is one of the cornerstones of our Open House concept at We Land. Our goal has been to serve both We Land tenants and local businesses with a comprehensive range of services. Demo will elevate the reputation of both We Land and the entire Ruoholahti area to a completely new level, says Uku Jaatinen, Head of Sales at NCC Property Development.
We Land is located in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, at Itämerenkatu 25. Restaurant guests can conveniently reach the location, for example, by metro. For those driving, Aimo Park We Land, which is open on weekends and evenings, offers nearly 200 parking spaces.
Restaurant Demo will serve lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday.
