We Land office building completed in Helsinki’s Ruoholahti district

We Land represents a new type of office building, carefully designed to accommodate hybrid working. The newly completed building has recently welcomed tenants Kalmar, Deloitte, and Hiab, with Helen scheduled to move in next year. ISS's lunch restaurant, Kasi, is now open to the public, and the top-floor fine dining restaurant with panoramic views will open later this fall.

We Land is designed to attract employees to the office. With its high-quality architecture, diverse services, customized spaces for businesses, and excellent location, the building offers strong appeal for those engaged in hybrid work. Currently, 90% of the office spaces in the building have been leased.

“We Land effectively meets the current market demand, where clients prioritize quality, services, and environmentally certified solutions. For example, we have introduced a new type of concierge service, Charlie, and are aiming for the highest BREEAM Outstanding certification. The building also complies with EU taxonomy,” says Jussi Palmunen, Project Director at NCC Property Development.

Environmental certification is significant for the building's users. For instance, Deloitte’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions is supported by the building’s sustainability features. Deloitte also has a clear vision of how to incorporate hybrid work into its space solutions.

“When designing our office spaces in We Land, we focused on a few key principles: we want to give our people a ‘wow’ effect and be leaders in sustainable office spaces. We are also continually adopting new ways of working and hope that our office spaces will evolve over time,” says Lari Hintsanen, CEO of Deloitte.

The high-quality architecture supports the new ways of working introduced by hybrid work and fosters much-needed community at the office. JKMM Architects was responsible for the overall and architectural design of We Land.

“The chosen style, along with the high-quality architecture and design of the building and spaces, aligns well with contemporary needs. The rise of hybrid work in the past few years has emphasized the importance of office space quality over quantity,” notes Juha Mäki-Jyllilä, Founding Partner, Architect SAFA, JKMM Architects.

Quality is also reflected in We Land’s use of natural, sustainable, and recyclable materials. The interiors feature prominent wooden surfaces, while the exterior is dominated by copper and glass. Large windows bring natural light into the floors, and the upper levels offer views of the sea. The building provides excellent amenities for those commuting by bike. Additionally, Aimo Park We Land serves local residents and other drivers during evenings and weekends, offering nearly 200 parking spaces, with one-third equipped with electric vehicle charging stations. The number of charging stations will be increased as needed in the future.
